3. A group who want to get out into countryside, using a combination of roads, bridleways and tracks, learning basics of road safety, riding different terrain, countryside code and environmental education in an informal way. Duration 2 - 7 hours.
4. A group who need to practice or learn road safety skills on or away from roads.
5. A group who would like to practice route planning and navigation skills in a practical way, with a worker to give guidance and advice.
6. A group who want to learn off road cycling skills, "high thrills" with full training, within 3-4 miles of the centre.

Times & cost

What do you need to bring ?
You will need to bring clothing suitable for outdoor activities with waterproofs if rain looks likely.
By this we mean trainers or boots and
not jeans.
Baggy bottomed trousers are not recommended.
A minibus with roofrack or trailer for trips further afield as the centre does not currently have one.

We do have a small selection of waterproofs if necessary.
You will almost certainly get dirty!
For a full day ride a packed lunch and drinks will be required, and a small backpack to carry it in.
Remember sun cream for those odd sunny days!
