Orienteering

We run a variety of orienteering activities.

These run from one hour to three hours and can be based either around the Smestow Valley Nature Reserve or further afield at Baggeridge, Himley, Telford Town Park or Cannock Chase.

What do you need to bring ?
You will need to bring clothing suitable for outdoor activities (by this we mean trainers or boots and not jeans) with waterproofs if rain looks likely. We do have a small selection of waterproofs and boots if necessary. For full day activities a packed lunch will be required. Remember sun cream for those odd sunny days!

Orienteering ties in with Physical Education, Maths, Geography and History at Key stages 1,2,3 and 4.
We can further extend curriculum links by including pupils in the planning and reviewing of these activities.
