Tokens at Asda and Tesco
Please remember Wildside when you are doing your supermarket shops. We are in the token system at Asda at the moment and will be in the Tesco Bags of Help token collection from May. Every token helps us and your support would be much appreciated. Please tell your friends and family too.
The Watch Group
This group is for children age 5-11 who are interested in wildlife. It normally meets in term time on the second Sunday of the month from 10am to 12 noon. The group starts again after the Easter holidays on 12th May with a narrowboat outing and on 9th June, it will be finding out about British deer. £3 per child. Please ring to tell us if a new child wants to join.
Our very popular group for pre-school children offers them the chance to get more confident in outdoor play. The leader is fully trained in the Forest School approach. Children, parents and carers love it. These Monday sessions are offered in term time either from 9.30 to 11am or 1 to 2.30pm. Sessions start again on 29th April. Cost £3 per session per child. Please ring us if you would like to bring your child.
Wellbeing at Wildside
We were one of the regional winners for the People’s Projects on ITV. Our project Wellbeing at Wildside has been very well used. It aims to help people with disabilities, learning difficulties, mental health issues and other long-term health needs.
We have an Open Group running on Tuesday afternoons from 2-3.30pm. If you have a health issue or disability, come along to enjoy friendly company and some nature related activities and crafts.
£2 per participant, carers are free.
