The talk is suitable for adults and older children and will be delivered by local author and historian David Guest. David will take us back to a significant battle between Saxons and Vikings which took place a short distance from Wildside. The talk explores the likely role in the battle of Alfred The Great's daughter, Aethelflaed. Tickets £5 per person, £3 for members.
