Half term is almost upon us, and, as usual, we have a wide range of activities planned. There really is something for everyone.
Viking Health Care
After the huge success of our collaboration with Gatis this summer, Mrs. B is back this half term for one day only exploring ancient ways of keeping clean and winter remedies that can still be used today.
Captivating Crayfish
As part of our series of talks we are delighted to welcome back Buglife's Liz Oldring for an illustrated talk about the endangered white clawed crayfish. This is a very special event in addition to our monthly evening talks.
Little Explorers
For Under 5s we have a very special story trail and pumpkin hunt. There will even be time to get crafty in The Burrow. You can find out more and book here
Adventure Seekers
Following it's popularity in the summer we are bringing back our Outdoor Adventure activity this autumn. It is an action packed afternoon incorporating fire lighting, den building and soft archery.
If you would rather get out on the water this autumn we have canoeing sessions for both beginners, and those with a little more experience. These can now be booked online for the first time.
Boat Trips
If you prefer your trip on the water a little less strenuous, one of our boat trips is for you.
Wightwick Trip - Monday 27th October 1030 - 230
Enjoy autumn in the Smestow Valley on this relaxed trip with two locks en route. Bring your packed lunch to eat on board. Tea and coffee are provided.
Ghost Boat - Friday 31st October 1030 - 1200
The boat will be specially decorated for Halloween on this shorter trip which is more suitable for younger children.
