Bat Walks

The canal and woodlands offer great habitat for bats such as Common and Soprano
Pippistrelles, Daubenton’s bat, and Noctule bats.
We cannot promise their presence but bats have been seen so far on all our bat walks.

We get the bat detectors and torches out and learn about nature’s aerial night hunters.
Walks are held in the late spring and summer, normally 8 pm to 10.00 pm depending on the time dusk falls.
Come with strong shoes and suitable clothes for an evening walk.
Children must be over 5 and accompanied.
