‘Bringing your desk outside’ networking boat trip. 20th July 2022.

Continuing research is identifying how engaging with nature can help organisations support the personal and professional development of employees and foster an environment which promotes creative, solution based ways of thinking.

Better Business Naturally – exploring new ways to develop your organisation is a partnership between Wildside Activity Centre and The Kingswood Trust offering businesses opportunities to develop innovative ways of working based on engaging with nature.  Both charities are highly regarded for delivering quality outdoor learning opportunities for schools and the wider community and they also believe that connection to nature is of huge benefit to businesses and other organisations.

Their next event offers participants the opportunity to reflect on how they can better engage with employees whilst taking a trip on Wildside’s narrowboat to enjoy a late breakfast and a discussion on the benefits of ‘bringing your desk outside.

Led by Mental Health Trainer and Business Consultant, Kerry Tonks from Simplia Health, the morning will allow businesses to network with like-minded organisations and discover how accessing nature can provide a great platform for positive business outcomes.

The Better Business Naturally business breakfast boat trip runs between 9.30am -12.30pm on Wednesday 20th July. It is free of charge to local business representatives who are able to discuss business development opportunities with Kerry Tonks and representatives from Wildside and the Kingswood Trust whilst enjoying a breakfast bap on a relaxing trip down the region’s waterways.

To book a place, contact Wildside Activity Centre on 01902 754612 or email mark@wildsideac.co.uk  and quote the Better Business Naturally Boat trip.
