Fungi Foray or ‘Little Rotters’

We take groups out to find mushrooms, toadstools and other fungi around the Centre and in the woodland.
They will learn about the life cycles of these fascinating organisms and about the vital part they play in the natural recycling process.
The session is offered in the autumn when the fruiting bodies (the toadstools etc.) are visible.

This is not a foraging session to collect edible species and the Centre does not offer to teach the recognition of fungi for culinary purposes.
